Yes, That is the Austin radio truck circa 150-60. Used in Aden Africa, Cyprus. Amongst others. My trailer is somewhat rare, (well, There is only one over here). When the repairs to my M62 Wrecker are complete, That is the truck that will be towing it with the AFV-432 On it. G710 Trailer...

Well it is 'That time of year again'. So the Deuce Fire truck (M45530c TFFT) Is to be serviced all through for this years up coming events. It is quite a big job servicing the unit, and requires the Lube Charts to be on hand. Aside from this, We have some other issues to sort out as the...

    Spark plug leads question

Your 'looking' out for actually. Anyway a logical way to work out the firing order is to remember that Number one cylinder is usually at the front of the engine. And that the rotation of the Distributor is usually Anti clockwise. The firing order of a six cylinder engine is usually 1-5-3-6-4-2...

air brake control on 5 ton

Yes, That used to be called a 'Hill Holder' on the Scammell tank transporters. Also Used as a trailer brake. Note (That) The FRONT glad hands (are not 'operated' by the Hand Control Valve (and)) do not exude air with the operation of the Hand Control Valve. The front glad-hands are Input air to...

    Rear Axle Question

HA! But you see, You ain't superman. If You had ALL the rear wheel jacked up, and chose to turn any one of the rear axle wheels, you are trying to rotate a horrific amount of mass. The differential in any one axle is just that, 'A differential', DIVIDING the force (Turning input) EQUALLY, (In a...

    Towing M135 with a 5 ton M54

If you follow the advices given, Then it would be good safe trip, (As), (For my 1/2 penne'th):: When you do flat tow it all the way home. (Just because you can), DO NOT 'cruise' flat out or anywhere near max. A Medium, Or Heavy tow Bar, Used with your combination, (And the correct adaptors)...

    Temperature guage problem

Why not just change the electric units for Capillary units? All my trucks are fitted with capillary gauges, Oil, And temperature. You must surely wonder why all trucks are fitted with capillary Air gauges? A solid line requires no earthing, And, "What you see is what you' got". Much better. Much...

    Loud Noise

Perhaps it was better that you assumed it a non runner on the (Repair?) return of your vehicle. Had you accepted the "Repairs", Driven it, Had an accident..(More..Worse)..Think about the consequences of that, After the vehicle was (Properly) Checked over by accident investigators...
