What is the pressure that the air compressor should turn back on?
The problem I am having is that the Air Dryer is popping off a lot.
The truck builds pressure ok and the Air Dryer popes off the at round 120psi and it looks
like the compressor comes back on at about 110psi and builds back to...
Sounds like you need to adjust your Governor down a little, it is on the firewall on the motor side.
The St-3 check valve is at the back end end of the wet tank, the PPV is on the front end of the wet tank.
When I got my M929 it was very dirty inside. The floor mat was loose so I took that out and used the power washer on it.
It turned out nice and clean.
But like jeepskiner said, just do not stay on the gauges or under the dash very long.
It was summer time here in AZ and it dried fast. LOL
Does anyone have a TM or TB that show the S-280 3 color camo layout?
I have looked and looked. I found some for the trucks and trailers but not one for the S-280 shelter.
If you have a M939 or M939A1 it may have the vent tube running up the motor intake, that is a good place to pressurize the the tank from.
3-5 psi.
On the M939A2's I am not sure where a good place is.
If you do not want to take the hub& axle apart I would use USGI rubber, I have not had very good luck with the China rubber ones.
If you do take the hub & axle apart I would use Silicone.
They work well for me here in AZ. I friend got some remanufactured ones and they have been working well for him.
I think they were from interstate and about $40 with a 90 day warranty.
That is to bad for sure, I was lucky and the tool boxes were locked and I got almost all the BII for it.
I do have some things if you need them. PM for list, it is not much.
Hoefler, I see your doing some dirt work, you using the wrecker to pack the dirt? I use my wrecker all the time to pack our dirt road and other dirt work projects.[thumbzup]
