0-80 electronic speedometer in a mechanical hmmwv

Yeah I got the harness and speedo new from kascar. There's only one sending unit yes, and that one screws directly into where the cable screwed into on the t case

0-80 electronic speedometer in a mechanical hmmwv

Woah there are different signal generators? I thought there was only one. My current electric speedo doesn't work even though the speedo itself is new. I thought my sender was broken but it may be the wrong one now.

Are these variable rate or only HD?

I noticed that I have the cast upper perches and when I've had 2500 lbs of gravel in the back the springs didn't budge. Do I have the normal 3000 lb HD springs or variable rate? They seem extremely stiff and I want to have the normal HD ones so I can upgrade to variable rate for the softer ride.

    Water pump pulley replacement.

I believe my fan is already disengaged. So by free spinning do you mean that it can be turned by hand?

    Water pump pulley replacement.

I am going to replace my 4 groove pulley for the 5 groove one. I know some people say that you have to remove the radiator stock to access the bolts and all. I was wondering if the job is possible with removing the stack? It would save me time, maybe it wouldn't save me some headaches but at...

    Deep water fording installation?

I'm slowly learning how the system operates, I think I understand it now, and it looks like I can just throw it together how ever I want? as long as the hoses end up in the correct places and come from the correct part? Little confused on what stub the sensor cup plugs into on the cdr valve...

    Deep water fording installation?

I've been reviewing both the parts manual and the installation instructions for the kit, mainly for the vent line installation. I swear the designers of the kit must have gotten hammered and then drew up the installation instructions. It seems to pay attention to every detail but not the big...

    Humvee stock cowl insulation

Theres also this thing: I don't know if it goes under the floor mats or what. And the side pieces look like they'd go great in the empty body panels on the exterior inside area.

    Humvee stock cowl insulation

Been sulking around ebay and I kept seeing oddly shaped thick rubber insulation listed. They interested me and when I went to the TM all I could find was that picture and a whole lot of NSNs. Now before I go off to Kascar or macmotors, does anyone have a good cheaper source for all of these...

    Alternator Questions

Don't know much about electrical work, but by battery disconnect do you mean a relay? My setup is a 24v relay that I have connected from the post of the rear battery through the relay then up to a circuit breaker for my 12v connections. The ground wire for my 12v system is run directly from the...
