It is my understanding that you dont need a CDL in Ca., but a class B license because of the 3rd axle.
If you ever get down to socal, you are welcome to come by and drive a Deuce--- we usually have about a dozen or more in stock.
I will try to get a better side shot tomorrow- but I think it will be just a tad high in the back for a bit of rake. Maybe 1" high in the rear. But I wont know for sure till I mount the drive axle under the springs. I still have the trailer axle in there! Hey...... maybe there is an idea...
Thanks everybody for the ideas and opinions! Keep them coming!
Here is my take on some of the issues so far-

Is there something that doesnt look right to you? If there is, let me know! I would never sell something to a customer that I felt wasnt safe!!!
9 out of 10 welders...
I am not 100% sure, but I do not believe the front springs have a higher capacity. Plus, I think we can keep the overloads on the trailer springs without affecting the ride.
But, I want to hear the facts if anyone has them!!!
BTW- I have front springs in stock to use, but wanted to try this-
This one is getting a 105 trailer bed. Probably going to flip the hubs. I have sold all of my Deuce adaptor plates for the HEMMT wheels, but I have more ordered-- if they come in on time we will use the 100dollarman wheels!
We have done about 15 Bobbed Deuces now--- for the rear we have used front deuce springs, trailer springs with custom made blocks, and now I am going to try this ---
I cut the section of trailer frame out that has the springs mounted and welded it to the bottom of the Deuce frame---
Has...
:-D:-D:-D It has genuine 100dollarman wheels and tires on it!!!:-D:-D:-D
We are excited to be involved with this project and working with Ian! He has some great ideas for this truck that you guys are gonna like!
I have seen some sneak peeks--- cant wait to see the finished (are they ever...
