Good morning, Bruce
I think my singled truck, which came from a NJARNG maintenance unit, had the fuel turned up and may have had the speedometer drive recalibrated. The speedo is dead on and it goes up hills a lot faster than you'd expect. I very rarely downshift.
It will bury the speedo...
My only experience with alternative tires is with 1100R20 XLs on a M35a2.
As far as "stock look" I guess it depends on the era. I've bought a M35A2 and a trailer with 1100R20 XLs from GL and there are some sold through GL that way every week. They also come out of GL with Goodyear and other...
Maybe the thing to look at to make use of additional fuel would be to up the size of the air cleaner CFM and ducting to help cut airflow restriction. The black smoke=unburned fuel=higher EGTs and wasted fuel.
Reducing the air restriction would get more air into each piston stroke and burn more...
The MEP-004A and 005A are, in fact, 3 phase only. Both are prone to issues if you take power off only 2 legs (for instance, for you house) and don't load the 3rd leg. I think that if you look in either set's -10 TM you'll find that they warn in big bold letters against doing just that.

Somebody thinks they will retail at $1,600 plus. By the time the buyer's premium, pick up and shipping are figured in that would seem the dead minimum. Likely the asking price would be closer to $2K. I like my hard tops but I sure don't like then that much.
Maybe the thoughts are that with...
Try searching online for "acid resistant gloves"
I first started using them in the Army over 30 years ago for battery maintenance work and buy them now at the local industrial supply house. They hold up to all kinds of things including paint strippers and paint reducers.

JC Whitney, LM&M Truck parts, the local parts store etc.
None of the CUCVs had a standard location for pioneer tools. Pioneer tools were required on some vehicles but could be authorized by the unit commander for any vehicle.
A rack will fit cross body under the lip in the front of the cargo...
What part of Queens? I was born in Woodside. We moved to a suburb of Buffalo (Amherst) when I was 9 or 10 and now we own a farm about 20 miles from Syracuse.

Welcome aboard. There's been a change in the rules. Did you know it's mandatory to pull that M105 through lower Manhattan during rush hour with a Yugo as the tow vehicle?

Back in the '80s I spent some years as an active duty guy working with a Guard mechanized infantry unit. Some of the National Guard maintenance shops had crew cab long bed Dodges for non-tactical utility use. They were mid '70s vintage with gloss olive paint and the white letters and stars...
Jeez, Mark
After all those hours straight I'm surprised you are even awake yet.
It was good to meet you.
I took the generator out of the truck today and put on one of our poratble workbenches to check it out. It fired right up and after a little governor hunting during the first few...
If this thing had shown up in my motor pool I'd have given it to anyone that wanted it and gotten it out of there before some maniac tried to put it on the property book as "Found on post"
But for fixing it, LED light can be a good option for small trailers because the can (generally) handle...
I don't know about a '57 Cevy but I had '63 and '64 Lincoln Towncars that weighed in at 5,600 pounds for the hardtop and 5,750 for the convertible.
Shoot a PM to CGarbee
He seems to have a pretty good grasp on NC law regarding antique vehicles.

I had one from 4991. Faxed it at 10 AM the next day. Despite having a confirmation that they got it, 7 days later I sent it again. Another confirmation with another email and 6 days after I sent the second one, it went to Battle Creek.
I had an EUC from 5007 (last Thursday), sent it on this...
