Searched and Googled, what is lug nut torque on 1994 M1079 ?

TM 9-2320-365-20-3, page 899 I just hit "control F", searched for "tire" and I think the 4th hit took me to the TOC for that section.

Searched and Googled, what is lug nut torque on 1994 M1079 ?

I hate to be "that guy". But it's really important that you get the tech manuals downloaded. There is soooo much information. conquering the TMs is a fantastic moment of enlightenment (control F is your friend). They are daunting but there are folks on here that can help you get your head...

Took the M1101 for a tow today

Mine sits pretty darn straight with the pintle. Can the H1 be upgraded to a "proper" pintle?

    Wheelspinner's M1078

Do you have the parts TM (-34P)? I don't have the numbers with me, but all of the NSNs are in there. A quick McGoogle search will cross reference any NSN

M1079 leaking air out the front bumper "Service" glad hand vent

I just replaced all threee of those check valves. They have old dried up rubber diaphragms in them, They are not expensive and pretty easy to change. Just do all three at once and be done. PS, take a few good pics of the layouts of the fittings, you will need that to keep track of all the...

    2017 Denton Buy Sell Trade

I have a complete HMMWV high back seat upgrade kit in the box. Been saving it for awhile but going a different direction. I need to get $600 for the set, and will probably not cart them down unless pre-sold.

    Wheelspinner's M1078

I just realized I made it sound like a single day. I did the check valves last week, and the tires yesterday with the help of my two sons. That was a decent bit of work. But my new Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2 impact was amazing for the task. 30 lug nuts off easy and back in ready for the torque...

    Wheelspinner's M1078

Well, I replaced all three check-valves, not hard and it solved the air dumping out the front glad hands. Still got a leak in the rear system somewhere but I think its the treadle valve or the tractor protection valve. That's for another day. Got three new (used) tires on to replace the junk...

    Supplemental Electric Air Compressor

I really don't understand, other than just wanting to do it, why you would add air compressors? You have an air compressor that doesn't run full time because it reaches the full pressure requirement of the available storage area. If you increase the storage capacity you will use the existing...

Question on pcb SSI EESS compatability

So I am a little confused. I have a KDS box with the yellow label, but the temp sensor has been disabled and filled with silicone or RTV. The wait light blinks (sometimes) and the engine always starts well when it does. Last night, no wait light and a hard start. Them I saw the activity on...

Just so happens I just picked up a parts truck. What cab would be needed?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The ABS module grounds through a connection bolted to the PCB mounting studs. These are on metal standoffs that I have found with paint on them. This causes a floating ground problem. Check all of those ground points well, you will have to take them off to verify they are free of paint.
