No problem. I am 30 miles from mobile towards you. It cost $120 to take a M998 to my house (pitts and sons) if you have issues and need a place to store it for a while, just let me know.

If you just google pitts and sons towing on shelton beach rd, that will give you a good address. They are co-located.

I am reading that off road diesel is good for any engine prior to 2007...not sure how true that is but I wanted to see about it in my 2011 MEP 803. Any wisdom? I am going to burn down trough my diesel storage and want to replace it with red fuel if I can burn it in the MEP.
Thank you
The T dip stick is easy money. One bolt on rear of passenger cylinder head and it is done. Dont forget your o-ring!!! The heat shield is a little cranky though.

I wonder if that is only an outie..meaning that there is a small valve or something that only allows some excess pressure out and nothing can come in. It is a stretch and still doesnt really make sense.

Yep, it absolutely goes from the hydroboost down the body and terminates open. The small hole on the bottom of hydro boost is open already. This just puts that already open hole farther down. I dont understand why.

The oil dipstick requires removing one manifold bolt. I sprayed mine down two days early with PB Blaster and it wast still a #%÷*& it is an allen head also.

Sounds about right. I got mine all put on the other day. For the sensor cup, it went to the fitting on CDR valve that is on the same side as the cup correct?

That is great info!! The TM is showing two different ones for the front so i am hoping someone will give some good info on the other one. Your part number is the one closest to the transfer case...correct? I want to replace all of mine since the shaft is out..
That fitting i am referring to is called a dust cap. I do have one and i got it from Kascar. i have it taken loose from front differential and have the center bearing loose also. I can't get it to release from the splines. Trying to keep from pulling entire driveshaft if possible. Do i just...
This little fitting on the front drive shaft spins freely. I have a new one but was wondering if this is a common deal to go bad? I assume i have to take off the whole shaft and separate the pieces. Is there anything i need to know other that what the time will have in it? Is the groove it fits...
On that hand throttle...it gave me the idea that i could replace mine with the Dorman hand throttle...same one i have seen to be used as a replacement freq.adjust knob on the MEP 803. Is that what yours is?

Did it come with the operator TM? If not, get it and read it well. Also the -20 (i believe) for all of the fluid concerns. I just got mine a few months ago and replaced all filters and fluids. It does not have to be on a slab since it has the skid underneath it but what i did was place a slab of...
