Are you saying you have no forward motion at all?, if so it's most likely the transmission or torque converter. The lines you replaced will only cure shifting problems. We need more specific information.
I removed a box from a M1010 that I had, the first one. After I removed it a year or so later I regreted it. It's not hard to remove but you need fairly stout lifting equipment to remove it. Drill out the rivits on the rubber seal between cab and box, remove ac hoses, wiring, and heater fuel...
The only in cab mount I am aware of is for the M1010. You could retro it to the M1028 but you would need all the parts and mounts from a M1010, and with a bench seat it would make it tough to shift 4x4.
Page F-19 shows the relay. It shows the spotlight wire as dark blue. The wire from the light through the roof and down the door post is usually black, then terminates to a connector where it is orange with black tracer into the wiring harness. Curious if yours is the same. All the ones I...
It's the spotlight that shorts out. Disconnect the spotlight first, next check the fuse at the top of the fuse box, there are two at the top I think it is the left one. If it's blown replace it then check your side lights they should now work. The spotlight hot power goes up through the light...
The spotlight/floodlight relay is located under the dash right next to the starter relay. It's the same relay that a normal cucv uses as the gen 2 relay. This is the relay that causes a battery drain when the master light switch is left on. If the the lights are not working it's usually the...
Since GSA purchase I have upgraded the charging system as seen in my DUVAC plan B post, installed the RT-524 in it's factory mount and location and cleaned up the back. Luckily the FD did not cut any wires or rip anything out. In the spring I will begin operation "UN RED". Unit has 22k miles...
Looks the same to me, I suspect Bob you have part numbers for the 886, here is the number for the M1010, perhaps you could compare them.
22-0865 or nsn2590-01-163-8596
My top 12v unit is stand alone, and the bottom is untouched. The M1010 has no idiot charging lights, just the volt meter. I am using the bottom alt stock to supply/charge 24v and the top to supply 12v and charge just the front battery. My wiring harness is stock, I just disconnected and...
The adapter is the same for the MEP-002A/3A gensets. I have one with my S-250 GRC-142 shelter/heater. It is a common item should not be too hard to find.
I removed both blue boxes, taped each individual wire connector that I removed from them then folded them back onto the wire harness and taped it and zip tied it securely. Next there will be an orange wire at the 12v block that needs to be removed and taped, you can trace it back to the wiring...
Made a run into town and when I returned I took the following readings. Truck running front battery 14.2v, front/rear batteries 27.2v, 12v alternator was showing around 4.5A output and the 24v alternator was showing 1.5A. Truck off front battery 13.3v, rear battery 13v. Looks like it's working...
