I feel left out with my XM813, can I call it an A0? Then when I single it and put air brakes on it with ABS I can call it an A1 and then when I put CTIS and a Cummins 6CTA(zero of course) in it I can move on up to an A2.
Even the registering is getting weary. Unless you go the BMV/DMV and get the answers printed out from someone knowledgeable do not try to circumvent the laws, like registering it at lower weight (good luck with any insurance company if you have an accident and lied about it) than what it is...
How about we post a reward for anyone with a truck data plate that has M9XXA0 (in the M939 series of trucks) on the dash. No, not a made up replacement either.
May or may not make a difference but what engine? Since they are both Cummins what does the vendor for the engine say to use?
It's nice to get advice from everyone I try to point people the guys who actually built the engine.
And make sure you jack the axle up and pull one side at a time and replace or you will end up with fluid out the other side. You could drain the diff first too.
Why do Gimp and I know this? ;-)
Thank him for his service for me.
Thanks to you Jeepsinker for wanting to help.

It's doable, fly in and drive a truck home. The guys from Texas flew in bought my Deuce and drove it home. But that was after we had gone through it and I even changed the alternator while they were landing. I included spare parts, gloves and a multimeter just in case and they had a belt...

Not every diesel engine is like that. My Brother's JD450C dozer oil isn't black. I pull the stick every time I'm helping him and I run it and every time it looks brand new. No, I am pretty sure he doesn't change it every day. It is the only engine I have ever seen like that although the...
In order to run really big air horns it is a good idea to have a separate tank to feed them. Someone put a large air tank in the bed of their truck for that very reason.
