Maybe Recovry4x4 has hope after all.

    Where to learn about radios/HAMs

    2015 Findlay Tent Space

Good thing I'm not in the tent then or it would be my cot and two other people.

VIDEO: Russian TU-95 Bear Bomber Shadowed by RAF & French Fighters (Interior View)

I've got a picture somewhere of one of our F4-Js shadowing a Bear back in the 70s. They would leave Vladivostok and fly out to watch the carrier as it left Hawaiian waters. Fun times. Nice video and I'm glad they shared it. I like the showing of the belly. Guess to let them know they were...

Silly me...I thought I would remove the lug nuts with a breaker bar and cheater pipe.

GE beat me to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxx6ymQO83M You know it has some power and it big when your wrench has a lifting eye on it to move it around. Use it underwater for those underwater Deuce trips. :-)

    Proper shut down

Shut the engine off then turn off master. I do it the same way on my M813 for practice.

    moving south

Contact 73m819 about driving your truck down. He likes doing it. Good luck on the move and don't worry about WM. He's still mad about The War of Northern Aggression. ;-)

Hydraulic fluid in winch/crane? My head hurts....

So maybe I should run space shuttle hydraulic fluid in my backhoe. We get a lot of heat build up in Ohio. Much like everything else, you can use the stuff that says John Deere or New Holland or INSERT_FAVORITE_HERE or you can go to Tractor Supply and buy hydraulic fluid. I opt for the last one.

    Army CJ5

Correct but any vehicle used by the military and surplussed out to the public still counts at the Georgia Rally. You know, like flight line vehicles be they true MVs or not. :-)

I have to move my bed, any suggestions!

Drill them. We put a bed on a tructor at the Georgia Rally and used a special cordless drill. what was special is the battery was replaced with cable and plug to go on the slave port of an MV. Worked great. A bottle jack and cribbing can get one side of the bed up to replace the wood and a...

    m35a2 advice needed

Familiarize yourself with the manuals at this point. It will help you decide how to operate it. Useful tool used correctly, possible death/injury and certainly damage to something if used incorrectly.

I have to move my bed, any suggestions!

You can also use oak or ash. We've swapped a Deuce bed onto an M818 out at the farm so moving yours would be easy.

    m35a2 advice needed

I still have one for sale. MF w/w c-turbo and very good NDTs. Couple of rust spots and I want to paint it. Plus, it came from TN (Smyrna). :-)

    Can anyone id this tranny?

Yeah G. Google didn't give me an image of an ACME T-98. The one from the Garden Gnome of the north's thread shows it. :-)

    Can anyone id this tranny?

I thought it was a T-98 as well but if you look at images of one you will see that this transmission does not have the front section like a T-98 does and the shifter is farther forward. Since we drove to Louisville to get one for my Brother's Ditch Witch I have been becoming more familiar with...
