I put the soft top on my M37 last night and can't seem to get the front/windshield edge to stay put.
The canvas top has the rope bead in it but I think the rim at the top of the windshield is too wide. Is there another part missing or do I have to crimp down that lip slightly?
Mike was a great help again last Tuesday. This was my first GL pickup and it went flawlessly except for the monsoon rains while we loading the lots. Keep up the good work Mike.
Thanks,
Bert
Great looking trucks.
Now I'm going to be on a mission to find tires, tubes and flaps like that for my Budd wheels. Any pointers on where to start looking? I will have to wait a bit to get the combat rims.
I called Rod Shaver on July 20th at 3:30 for a full set of M37 data plates and Rod called me back today at lunchtime and has the plates in stock and will ship them when he receives payment. :-D

I took an air hose to the under coating in the wheel wells and on the frame. I found Strata Blue that still has a shine to it. The truck has very little surface...
Scott, Thanks for your input. I got a trouble shooting guide from someone on the g741 site that spells out exactly what you mentioned. I will test the sender and wiring in a couple of days.
jimmcld, I thought it was the ground to, but it wasn't.
I just purchased this truck 3 weeks ago and I'm in the process of learning what makes it tick. This truck is a blast to drive.
The truck has had a new fuel tank put in by the previous owner.
I need to know what I should look for first. All of the other gauges work and the rest of the...
David, After doing my homework on the dueces and 5 tons I decided to start with a small truck first, then move to something larger. I couldn't pass up the deal on the M37 either.
What time is the car show and were in the park?
