I am looking for a NOS Starter I remember reading you can buy one from napa that replaces the "6598N" does any one have a part number?
I did the math if i buy a used one figure 100 bucks then 100 bucks to rebuild I should probably just buy a new one. Unless someone has some cores or something...
I love how you guys bash the CUCV Starting issues/ Electrical Issues. Maybe the problem is operator error. All my 3 cucvs have been great. I would say 99% percent of the problem are the people working on them. :deadhorse:

I used to have a problem with that same fuse. It was always loose. I think it may be a common problem with heating up, but any way. I took needle nose pliers and crimped the prongs so it would be tighter against the fuse. This lasted about a month. Then I soldered the fuse to make it thicker and...
A couple thing for you to consider, but looks like you have most covered. I believe the b52 swap will make you loose front lift shackes. If you are keeping the 6.2 you do not have to upgrade to 35 spline. Also you should have a locker up front with the 1031 axles
It says the pump came off of a 89 C/k r/v truck. It may have less power or more power I'm not sure. It will work. The guys at Diesel Place: Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums would know. If it put out more fuel than yours buy it. if not have yours rebuilt.
No it has a banks kit on it. You can run anything you want, 6.5, 6.2 turbo / na. Your pump will decided how much fuel will go to the injectors. (turn it down or leave it how it is.)
