I'll add this; when hauling firewood out of our wood lot, the single truck has less clearance issues. The trails were cleared for horses to haul logs, not machinery ,and unless I want to whack a whole lot of trees to open them up they'll stay pretty narrow. The dual truck is forever scrubbing...
Maybe it's just been "the luck of the draw" in what parts I'm looking for but Memphis and Saturn have, between them, always had the parts I'm looking for.

The M34 had 11.00-20 singles and a wheel with less offset to give it a wider wheel track.
If you check the load rating on the 9.00-20, you should find that they will support the weight of a fully loaded M35 just fine. Flip away.
I've got single 11.00R20XLs and flipped hubs under my off road...
A severe shake is a good reason to look at all the front end wear items. Don't assume or guess.
The pitman arm ends and tie rod ends should have no more than 1/16" play. The pitman arm to steering gear output shaft bolt should be tight with no play (very rare but serious)
The steering gear...
I believe it is a "near recognition symbol" to designate the unit the truck belongs to. When deployed (or training for deployment) bumper numbers are usually removed. Symbol shape, color and location are used to designate particular units or sub-units. A good exapmle on combat vehicles is the...
A reorganized TM section. I've turned wrenches on this stuff since 1976 and still have trouble finding all the TMs in the RESOURCES section.
The DOD publishes a List of Applicable Publications (LOAP) for most equipment. The list covers (where applicable) operation, parts, maintenance...
There are a couple of different sizes of bolts on the pump. If I remember right, you'll find one under and behind it. Look up at it and you'll see it better. The challenge, after loosening all the bolts, is to find a way to pry over on the pump without denting it. I used a chunk of cedar...
I hate to post this because as the cavalry guys say it, I've been "leaning forward in the saddle" in anticipation but I'm going to have to drop out. Our youngest son's college open house weekend is the same weekend.
He only wanted one school, only applied to one school and got an early...
The NATO cable with two adapters is the most versatile setup. It will let you slave from any configuration to any configuration. The old 2 pin cable cannot jump to a NATO connector. Due to the configuration of the ends, no adapter is made.
My deuces have both NATO and the old 2 pin plugs...
I shot an email to the Michelin commercial tire folks regarding the correct inflation pressures based on my 6 wheel and 10 wheel M35A2s. This was the response. (quick, too!)
Note that they refer to the axle load with 2 or 4 tires per axle. The data is good for other models of trucks, too...
OK, so what are the correct milspec part number and the 97 series number. I've tried to get a couple of suppliers to quote on 10 connectors and have never even gotten a reply.

Metered hours and miles will not always tell the whole story due to engine replacements, tach replacements, etc. The general condition of the truck is the most important thing. A look at that many trucks parked together will give you a clear idea which ones belonged to units with effective...
It's my favorite show venue, by far. I wish I could make it but I've got a state Fish and Wildlife Management Board conference that weekend.

I'm in Auburn, NY, about 20 miles west of I-81, a little south of Syracuse.
If he needs help anywhere from Ithaca north to Sandy Creek, call me.

D8Dave, Doghead and others are along this stretch, too.
I may be confused but, if you checked the coolant while it was overheated, you'd have had a geyser of steam and coolant. When did you check it?
If you checked it when the temp showed hot and you didn't get a geyser, the thermostat may be stuck closed or close to closed.
Were the belts tight...
Maybe a better way to describe it is to give the start button a FIRM decisive but momentary poke. A soft or tentative poke will eventually lead to a toasted starter button due to current arcing. The start button carries the full starting current.
