Finding a canvas cargo cover will be tough in my opinion. I have never seen one for sale and the only ones I have ever seen have come out on trucks and were in older condition (and, even then, most of the few that have come out on trucks were vinyl). You might be best served...if you have to...

What is it about the M35A3s in WI? They seem to bring top dollar. I have recently seen (within the past eight months) W/W trucks bring $10K+! I have bid on trucks there because they were clean, but I dropped out way before that.

Ray, I once had an M275A2 (Kenny's old deuce tractor) that I used to haul around an M313 and the it drove down the highway doing 50-54 MPH without a problem. Hills did slow it down, but not too badly. I am sure you'll be fine with the M35A2 conversion to a road tractor. Great job!

You are way past this point and maybe it was in another thread, but did you consider a 3/4 ton trailer such as an M101A2? Just curious why you decided to start with an M416. I admire your craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Dudley (ATANKERSDAD) has a complete, running LDS motor. Why not swap in the 5 ton motor? Send him a PM to make sure he still has it.

I agree with Derrick, but I know this is personal preference. The 1600s will fit, but I know that guys have said that they sap the power out of the truck. IMO, 1400s are plenty beefy, but I do realize that guys always want more....and that is the reason that most of us have more than one truck!
