I spoke with Marcus the local GL rep and he confirmed that it's radium in the gauges that they are worried about (he brought it up, not me). He said something like, there's widespread belief around the company that it's a bogus fear, and that it could be cleared up quickly. He wasn't yet sure...

That's neat, it's fun to find things like that. I had a 2000 Mustang a few years ago that was a "Spring Feature" car. I think I was installing a chin spoiler when I found a paint can lid wired to the radiator with the letters "SF" scrawled in the paint. Kinda neat, not as personal as "Bert" but...
