Whatever happened you need to make sure that they flush the cooler and lines when you get your new transmission. I had a new transmission installed by the dealership that didn’t make it a block before it failed because they didn’t flush it after my old torque converter failed. Glad it was still...
I pieced together and new set of x-doors and I ended up with 5 doors and I have 5,300 in 5 really nice doors. I will probably sell the xtra door for 900 or 1,000 so 4,300 for the real deal is ok compared to what they are asking for aftermarket.
Hahaha, you are right about that! Never use wool pad.. harbor freight has a headlight polishing kit with everything you need for around 9 bucks. It has arbor for drill and foam pads and it works really good. I was going to replace all of my gauges but after I did one I was happy with it
My friend almost had his 69 ford 4wd stolen but he walked up on them and they ran. We were in the shop early one morning and I looked at what he was building and he had a cage of razor blades built to go around the back of the ignition switch and it worked because he found blood on his...
The Black Dog was perfect for me. It is the perfect length and has the oem connectors with a rubber grommet on it for when it goes thru the body and the wires are covered in the loom crinkle stuff with shrink tube ends and a small quality switch, zip ties, cushion clamps and instructions! Price...
Sand it with 3,000 and polish it out. Spray a little brake cleaner on a rag and see if it doesn’t take the haze off then polish it. Mine were really bad and they turned out really good
I’m really happy with my Black Dog fuel cut off switch. I’m the only one who knows where it is and it would be almost impossible to find it in a reasonable amount of time. It was like 69.00 and it seems to be good quality. I like that fancy key fob but it does the same thing as my switch.
Probably be cheaper to get a regular H1 and have it swapped and be way ahead. You get a better Duramax and 6 speed Alison. I might be a little off on that but there is a big advantage to doing it. Sell old drive train to recoup some money. If I ever get an H1 that’s the way I would go. Buy one...
I would never buy a bed lined truck personally, unless it was linex on the inside floor and not the dash. I really like how your truck looks and I think it will get a lot of attention. I would remove that small lightbar and get some 24 bolt wheels like was suggested earlier or 12 bolt. I like...
I believe this is the aluminum top and it’s 25% off until the 25th. I don’t think you will find a oem top for less than that. Might not be what you are looking for but it would get you a top. I want a 4 door hard top but I don’t want a slant back because I want some truck bed...
Gov planet sent me an email with a return shipping label. I called and they said return the title and they will have Montana fix it. I guess they messed up the last batch
Just got an email from GP and it had a return shipping label in it. I called to see what’s going on and Britney said they want my title back so they can fix the model from OFF Highway Ve to model M1123 and the OH should be going away. She said that Montana messed up the whole batch
They send the SF97 form to Montana and Montana sends them a title. I called Gov Planet yesterday a lady said she already had 5 calls about it. She said they are looking into it as in contacting Montana and see what happened. I also asked her what model I have and she said M1123 and I asked what...
So I have taken a deep breath and applied the information I have received from members and thoughts of my own. I was looking at the Montana title and they have the model wrong. In my sales ad and on my SF97 form that was sent to Montana have my model as M1123. I looked all over and AM General...
