I went to turn my headlights on and grinded my starter! Can’t believe it happened. I use two hands to turn on lights because I think it takes stress off of the switch. I will use one hand from now on to take stress off my starter. It was dark and I couldn’t see dash. No excuses rookie move
What do you think the price will be 5 or 10 years from now when there isn’t any available to auction off? I’m going to buy as many as I can afford, that’s probably only 3. Lol I’m selling some stuff that should get me 2 or 3 more. I will wait for my EUC and my title. People in savage countries...
I just put a new Gates Green Fleet belt on. Noise is gone but it went away the last time I changed it. It can’t be a bad pulley if it goes away and the tensioner seems like its strong. I spun all the pulleys and they seem to be good. Pulley Alignment looks to be straight as can be. I will find...
I was going to change/flush my power steering fluid “Dex III” new filter and all and before I started I put a paper towel in the reservoir and compared the color with the new fluid and it was 1 or 2 shades different. I topped it off and called it good. I changed the engine oil and what came out...
I’m curious because I was unable to be in the military. When you go out for whatever, do you get the same Humvee or do you just grab whatever is available.
I went to a really good old fashioned have everything you need store and they didn’t have the right size wellnuts. They were close but I ended up getting mine from Mac, Kascar, or hummerpartsguy. Sorry I can’t remember. I never could get my 4 man rail to sit flush with the A,B,and C pillar and...
I believe that I read a post where someone is using the double 12v charger and running a lead to each battery. Maybe someone can confirm if it’s true or if I understood it wrong
I was referring to the fact that it doesn’t build any additional pressure from heat. I was not in anyway suggesting that you throw away all your clamps. It’s weird how I can squeeze my upper hose flat at operating temperature and that was when I thought that the clamps aren’t doing near as much...
Cost? Because you only need to buy it once? Because it doesn’t corrode and they can’t sell you new parts? I think if you tried it you would like some of the benefits. I was skeptical about it but I thought I would give it a try while I was adding my becool radiator and had my cooling system...
Pretty sure the cooling system functions in the same way on the Tahoe and consists of the same basic items that are on the Hmmwv. I would rather have a lifetime coolant that has a 370 degree boiling point and builds zero pressure in the system and will never corrode. Probably helps the hot spots...
Convert to Evans waterless coolant and you don’t need a cap or hose lamps. Lasts forever and it doesn’t corrode anything. I’m doing it soon. Had it in my H2 for 3 years now and I’m very happy with it. I don’t think it makes a difference with your 1pound difference
I think these are the real deal. I seen some at black dog customs also. Mac Motors is a good place also

I think it should look like this. You see that paint line on yours? Looks like something is missing and you can see the lower gasket for the windshield.
The title is the way to go I believe. You have a regular out of state title and it doesn’t give them the chance to decide what title you should have as in off road vs on road. I’m waiting for mine still but when I get it I will get my vin verified and should walk out with my plates
I think I seen a video of you in Moab with your Humvee? If that’s the case I fully understand what you are doing. Normal people don’t need anything like that but I see the need for you. Let’s go, I’m not that far away from Moab. Tell me if I’m wrong with the video.
I agree with you. I don’t know if that’s necessary and shocks are expensive and if that’s your goal might as well do coil overs because that’s the only way to get it right.
