I don’t think that’s true. Call and ask. I didn’t have a title option but after a google search I called them and asked for one. Mine is on the way. Anything sold with a clean sf97 is eligible for a on road title

Spend the 150.00 and get a title from gov planet. I think it will probably make the process easier because you already have a on road title. If you didn’t get it at auction I don’t have any good advice for you. Good luck
