OK, I did some searching on the SS site and on the Web but not much definative info.
Does anyone have a source for 16-20 inner tubes?
They will go inside a 16-20 XLZ tire, because the tread has holes from where 3/8" rebar punctured the tire.
In this application does it matter whether the tubes...
Glad you made it.
Sorry to hear about all the snags.
But, just more stories to one up the guys around the crackling fire come SS rally day.
At least the weather was good, right?
Wow that is really steady from the days of mounting a cam-corder to one of the spots on my jeeps light bar.
Back then it would have sent the most experienced pilot into seizures.
Cool vid. Ya you need more light and maybe gunfire in the background.
What type of camera & mount?

I just surfed Leece-Neville military, then took the one with 3002 and 24 v in the description and got the above exploded diagram.
Dis you search the SS site? A lot of SS links popped...
Howdy slotnickj ,
Welcome, and be sure to add you location to either you contact info or your signature.
I am down in the tri-cities.
I am always ready to getting into a new adventure.
As for the bidding on the shop truck, I am sure there were a bunch watching it.
More now that we have our...
RE: El Paso M109A3 inspection
I though these were known to have grounding issues.
Check for an extra ground connection t one of the mounting screws or the othe end of the ground for a loose connection.
You could always take a spare analog version with you an swap it our before driving it back...
RE: Oshkosh Recovery
Best of luck.
Now the adventure really begins.
Spend the rest of the day dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
Then tonite, get no rest and you will be in top shape. :grd:
Great score on the deuce.
Upgraded with winch & power steering and didn't have to pay delivery fees, that is more than a winner in the SS book.
Thanx again for checking on the items for me. [thumbzup]
Maybe this procurement will go more smoothly. aua
I also like the VW.
At least it is...
I like the look of the new drop down menus.
Great improvement.
Just hard to get used to now that I have finally learned to look to the lower left.
Thanx
Copper center! Cool.
Or Brrrrr.... Cold.
I remember as a kid back in the early 70's, when dad was at Ft. Richardson, we used to van camp in the big gravel lot on the other side of the bridge the truckers used for over night parking. There was a logging road/trail that paralleled the Copper...
Ya!!! That is what I am talking about!
Nice vid and effects.
I especially like the effect where you make it look like the deuce can't make it up the slippery Ox snot just to fool the enemy.
Pure genius.
Great job.
Out here there is plenty of hilly off road, rocks and scrub, but not many trees...
Very nice rig.
Block heater or garage would cut that time to nothing.
But that is still about the same as my 5 ton after letting her sit in below freezing temps for a month.
Are those stock shoes for the 10ton?
What size NDTs are they?
Boyce Equip has a $200 tractor box heater, if you aren't going for the all original mil. parts deuce.
I just installed one in my 5 ton on the firewall.
Also Alex from ID motor pool had a double fan box heater that mounts on the floor under the passenger seat
It was about $200 also.
I had that...
I got a partial light bar from Sermis.
It came with only one of the three marker lamps.
I found these twin bulb 12V lights in at Lowe’s.
The two 12V lamps are in parallel
If you pop the lens, you can cut the cheapo factory connections (red marker lines on first image), bend it out of the...
Steve and Jeff glad you made it back safe.
Also looks like that Karma was looking out for you too!
Lugnuts and dollars.
To all the other posters, thanx for the well wishes and support.
To ArmyMan30 luckily for me it was a flat tow with no rear driver.
So I never ended up on my side in the lead...
So as long as they are on a winning streak Steve and Jeff suggest that we try and flip the 2nd deuce. After all Steve and Jeff do this all the time when they are 4 wheelin’, just not as much snow and the rigs are a bit smaller.
1st attempt was a drag with the deuce using a tow strap and tow...
So since it is going to be a while, we drop Steve’s trailer and go looking for road flares or safety triangle so that we can warn others.
(Neither of us had any, I would suggest everyone get a dozen, seal them in a Ziploc with duct tape, Just in Case)...
Well roads were still slick and the route I chose (highway 17) was hilly but less traveled.
So we met many icy patches and freezing fog. Oh, it was also all 1 lane each direction.
Well we were 2 hours into the trip, nearing Coulee City, with me in the lead, when I hit a patch of ice. I tried to...
