Best case scenario is find someone fairly local who can secure it for you. Probably someone on here could. I had great luck with that when I had to leave my trucks in NC ahead of my move there.

I lived in NY most of my life, you can possibly delay the rust, but any exposure to salt will get it eventually. If its that clean, do your self a favor and drive something else in the winter.
