Jack that would be the early style tailgate for the GMC M135 or M34 Reo,decently valueable if it's straight and functional. I know where there is a decent M135 bed complete with the later style tailgate and troop seats here in NC if it hasn't been scrapped.

Westy, I see inpic 3 above you have the air intake for the compressor plumed into a multifuel primary filter housing,using that for a filter for the incoming air?

Definetly a steering shaft,most likely fits a M39 or M809 series 5 ton with the late style power steering. Looks to be about the correct length.

Are the lifters easy to get out? can I just pull it up threw the head threw the pushrod hole? Pretty sure the multifuel has a flat tappett cam,basically you have to pull the cam to swap em.
