I personally wouldn't add atf I saw some tests once and the 2 cycle oil scored the best uses atf was the worst new atf wasn't much better. Its about impossible to get all contaminants out of your used oil, so you can expect to shorten the life of moving parts in your injection system. The...

apa auto parts and carquest will have them, metric gm starter bolts will come in 3 different sizes, take a sample with you carquest will any one who handles the dorman line should also have them.
First off that is a starter bolt 10mm x 1.75 thread pitch if I remember right. This is a common occurrence, a torque wrench is required to install the new one, I would not recommend lock tight on the threads or it will be a pia to get out next time it breaks. If you install them dry it usually...
I'm out in bush ak I get 130 per hour as a field tech, but I will likely be going over 150 per hour next summer. Your rates should be less unless you live in new York
Try the 4 ways turn and brake are on the same filament in the bulb, if the 4 wqys are on and the flasher is fried it will be the same as having brake lights on. First however disconnecting the brake light switch will tell you if the brake switch is bad.
Go to your local national guard CSMS, UTES, or OMS shop, likely there will be some one there willing to help on weekends or after hours. Maybe even for nothing more than an ice cold beer.
if you can find some one who has or is working at a national guard shop as a wg mechanic, that would be your best bet. I'm Shure there are some highly qualified active duty wrenches out there, but the army is focusing less on mos training and more on mp type training these days, letting...
On the plus side of the coil you should see battery voltage, on the negative side with points open you should see battery voltage, with the points closed you should read 0. the next variable is coil saturation, the gap on the points I think should be 18 thousandths which should give a dwell...
The switch option I want would be the same as the old dodge trucks or chevys they complete the circuit to ground when the door is open. They seem to be hard to come by now days though.
I also heard they had 8.2 fuel pinchers in them, I assume he wanted to ditch the multi fuel so he didn't have to wear double hearing protection. The road oiler would also require double hearing protection, but there is no sexier sound than a 2 cycle jimmy on start up.
A c or b series will fit well, why not poke at your dad and put in a cat engine. just opt for a high hp model not the 190 and under that the a-3 uses, I always thought a dt 466 would fit in nicely too.
I believe the ones I saw listed in fairbanks were listed as a-2. That said they did have c-7's, but I didn't know the c-7 models didn't have air ride cabs. That would just suck to have the rigid mount cab where I live.
I put out what info I had, every one has a priority if you want an opinion I selected the 3116 because it had field maintainability and reliability at the cost of some horse power and performance. there are some out there like the electronic engines because of the ease of turning up horse power...
