I would look at the truck yourself if to make sure you still want it with regards to having them give you a clean title. This can be a fight since they have to show it as totaled to give you the highest payout. It can be easy to get scrap value from them and keep the truck. You should be able...
you need to get paid for another one plus get the salvage value from yours. Keep your truck for parts. you can argue that to replace the vehicle you may need all the parts off yours to make the next one complete again.
I believe the college station thing just happened a couple months ago. I believe it is a spring fling but I could be wrong. They may have something twice a year.
I think that this is a great idea but being looked at the wrong way. A drive across texas is a 4 day to how ever many days you want...
no, it only presses the throttle just a little. The ip timing is changed by the vacuum/throttle advance and I believe by the temp switch. the green wires are controlled by the temp switch. once warmed up, the green wire is dead. +12V when engine is cold.
I believe the only cylindrical thing there is the starter. the fuel pump Is in front of starter and tranny behind. If it is leaking red at the connection between the tranny and engine then it is probably torque converter seals. The coolant lines connect on that side also so it may be a leak in...
If you just want to use the high idle solenoid all you need to do is run an extra 12Volt wire to is on a switch. flip the switch and press the gas pedal and you should be at high idle.
I added one to my rig for rock crawling. when in double low on the t-case the high idle keeps it from lugging.
The relay allows you to switch from the inside using a ground. This way if your wire from inside to outside gets grounded, it only turns the lights on instead of big sparks (maybe small sparks).
Put your relay close to your power input and run the switched ground to it. This way the wire to...
I think you have a short in the circuit board at the middle bulb. When you put it in, it grounds out the last bulb when you take it out the ground goes away. The foil can get folded backwards at the connections.
The other option is something is wired wrong on the plug connection or foil is...
try rubbing the circuit board with your fingers while the lights are on. Does it make the light that is out blink. You may have a small hairline crack in the circuit. The sockets squeeze the circuit and could be exposing the crack in the foil when the next light is tightened.
Is it the same...
Many people here run that size tire on stock set up with only a little rub. There might be a slight rub on the frame rails and full turn and on the inner fender under full stuff. with 2 inch lift you should not have any problems.
The stock wheel will work fine for your application.
RSH - you do not have to do anything with the injectors when using the banks. The Banks passengers side manifold does not interfere with anything. The turbo position is further forward kinda like another alternator. you use the stock drivers manifold.
The cross over if ran 90 degrees from the...
Sounds like your starter went south. Sometimes the extra cranking just does them in.
It looks like I may get to work on mine this Saturday. Sometimes if you beat on it a little bit you can get a few more starts out of them.
the relay size is really based on the light fuse size. With the fuse in front of the relay you can oversize the relay by 20% and you should be good. I believe the armored lights on high beam are 110 watts at 24 volt so that is about 5 amps per light. For two lights I would run a 15 amp fuse...
24v+ from top bus bar (red) above the blower motor to input side of relay. run output side of relay to the 24+ on light. Run neg for light to a good ground. Run 12v+ to switch side of relay. Run ground wire from other switch side of relay to switch, other side of switch to ground. This way...
that is a gear box for the cable. the 1008 has 4.56 gears and the 1009 has 3:08. you need the gear box if you still have 3:08 gears in axle. The gear box corrects the speedometer for the different rear end gears. If your t-case has the box then it came from a 1009. the tranny could still be...
take a look behind those kick panels before drilling. you are asking for a lot of leaks cutting holes there. the vents can leak on their own. Take the panel off and look at it before cutting. all of the water from the front cowl runs down the sides and out the bottom of the fenders.
It possibly did not disengage and letting it run for 10 min with the starter still engaged may have toasted the starter. The engine is loud it is very hard to hear the starter spinning when it is stuck
check your shims. bump the starter a few times before cranking to make sure it is disengaging...
Memphis diesel or badger diesel are the two shops here that have the most recommendations. I went with badger. The service was great. I believe the pump price alone was 425. with 8 new injectors and new fuel return line with shipping 600.
Memphis is cheaper but not sure if they include...
