Brother Ahab you nailed it. The pictures are of the first DC-8 on it's maiden flight in 1958, using the Pratt & Whitney JT3C/J57 Turbojet engine.

Dennis, have you checked the oil galley through the head, and to the rocker shaft. Ford 292 & 312 V8 engines were notorious for overhead oil galleys getting clogged.
