New deuce owner. Welcome!
As a new owner, I highly recommend that you get a copy of the TM, tech manual, and keep it with you at all times until the pages are worn and the information is burned into your brain. It will help when something goes wrong on the side of a dark road if the...
I would PM the link. I see a thread, someone is asking for something, I might PM that member a link or two to an Ebay auction or buy it now if I happen to know one is up for that item.
I also agree it isn't hard to follow the rules, but like Clint said, I bet most of the infractions are people...
That's awesome! good thing she spotted the tag!
This is why I get bent out of shape when Angie just starts throwing stuff out without asking me about it or even looking at it close.
Made it safe and sound, only issue was a clogged fuel filter and my alternator isn't charging the batteries right.
Glad I put the air ride seats in, or coming home bobtail would have made me park the truck and walk! It was pretty bad still on those poorly maintained concrete roads...
Hey everyone,
I'm going to be hauling a M750 to just about the AL state line, and bobtailing home to Hopkins, SC. If anyone needs anything moved along the I-20 corridor to Columbia, SC or farther, let me know.
Leaving out at 2am, will be at exit 19 in GA on I-20 around 0730-0800.
Thanks,
Adam
Well, I was just saying contact him and ask, not start dumping trailers in his yard.
I guess I shouldn't have. I don't mind if people say "hey, contact Ferro, he's in the area" but that doesn't mean everyone else is ok with it.
My air regulator on the firewall would click click click click and sometimes go away and sometimes just start going. I took the air lines off and put some air tool oil in it, and hooked the lines back up. Never had a problem with it again.
If the safety under the cab is opening and closing, the...
John Winslow (RIP) loaded two M923's that way on his step deck, they just climb right there! I don't know if I would have done it personally, but it was his truck and trailer!
Wow, this must be a universal wife thing!!! "oh, that would be easy? Ok I actually want it 10mm to the left right where this load bearing stud is... etc etc."
Looks great! I hope to see it in person one day!
Looking good!
Kirby if you're heading to SC and needs a place to stay, you're welcome at the compound! Not too far from I-20, I-77, and I-26.
At least Elmo was wearing a 'seatbelt'
:ditto:
Me too, or that it is leaking by. One way to tell is to have the service line right behind the cab, just sitting on the deck. With air built up, if the valve is leaking, you will feel/hear air coming from that gladhand. There are no shut off valves on the 915's for the trailer lines...
I would highly recommend going with a 5 ton 900 series truck. The 250's are dang near bullet proof if you take care of them and the allison is a common transmission for heavy duty applications if I'm not mistaken.
The first time I drove a 5 ton and backed a M105 trailer with one hand on the...
