I replaced the Boots on my M923A1 about 2 months ago and all was fine. But I went into a
car show in Phoenix and I notice my right side boots was leaking grease out the bottom of the boot.
This morning I looked at it and the boot had come loose.
My question is how tight do you tighten the wire...
I needed two bows for a M105 I had and I used a red wood 2x6 I had around the shop. I painted it and it worked just fine.
I do not think they used red wood at the factory, but it worked.
I have looked all over and I can not find the TM that has the front winch part number brake down in it. Looking for winch seal p/n's.
Could some tell me what the TM P/N is? Thanks!!!
Nice looking truck. You can take the top to a canvas shop and get it repaired for about $35.
I have noticed after you drive the trucks with the CTIS it starts working better some times.
I used gear oil 80/90w, but you need to look in the TM for the amount. It does not take very much.
You put it in the two side of the winch. There is plugs you pull to drain it and plug on top to fill it.
