In my opinion, the guy with the nicest bobber is Jesse (CRUZINZ28). Why do I think his is the nicest? Because it looks stock! He has larger tires, but they are the 395s (I believe) on M35A3 rims (they look like they belong on the truck). The bed is off of an M105 like most guys'. His trucks...
I am torn on this. For me...preserve and restore ONLY...ALL THE WAY. For other guys...it's their money so they can do what they want (and I can cringe the whole time!).
I agree with the guys who said that they wished that the bobbers would use the lesser trucks if they will be cut up. I TOTALLY understand, however, why they don't. They want a clean truck and the cleaneast intact trucks will result in the cleanest bobbed trucks. With that said, man, find a...
I don't know about any extra handles, but I know CUCVFAN has some NOS landing legs with handles for your trailer. Buy the whole thing from him and then sell the extra landing leg.
For those guys with 3/4 ton trailers, I saw on the "who's bringing what to Aberdeen" thread that I started that CUCVFAN has some NOS crank up landing legs for the 3/4 ton trailers. That would seem like a must-have if you are hauling weight in the trailer.
I was wondering what interesting parts/vehicles people are bringing to sell at Aberdeen.
I have NOS fiberglass 5 ton dump truck troop seats that I can bring ($300 for a pair delivered to Aberdeen). However, I don't plan to haul them there unless someone commits to them ahead of time. I am...
Hello,
I have a deuce cargo cover that I need to get down to Joseph Carson (SANDCOBRA164) in Georgia. Joseph will be at the Georgia rally. I was hoping we could save him some shipping by sending it down with someone who is coming to Aberdeen in May. Let me know. Thanks!
Driving a truck home 350 miles that has been in storage and sitting for a long time is asking for trouble. I agree with the previous two posters. Change the fuel filter, oil and oil fiter...add fresh fuel and conditioner...check for air leaks in the fuel lines...make sure there is an air...
I had no idea that the sprag ONLY functions when the air system is charged. I looked into a bit and JWALLER is definitely correct...no air and the sprag stays in a neutral position (neither forward nor reverse). Still, that was a surprise. You learn something new each day!
Contact CUCVFAN. He has one or two NOS heater kits for a 5 ton gasser or Mack. That would probably work for you. Most of the parts are the same as the deuce heater kit. I don't know anything about the price...I just know he's got them.
