    M151 value.

You need to check the underside and lower bodywork, as these are prime points for deterioration. Do you know if the axles are ok? Like champs they do seem to get very noisy. Post up some pictures or pm me if you want a phone number. Worth? between £3000 and £5000 depending on various factors.

    M51 Dump truck questions

I once had to clear a 5 ton from and intersection with a deuce, I had an 'A' bar and brake lines hooked up, (and a police escort(road closed)), However, I have to tell you that (that) 5 ton DID NOT want to 'turn' and was QUITE capable of "steering" the deuce on the tight turn out, That was some...

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

Good point with the pto in gear. However I can see my post might be misinterpreted. "A 'tug' in reverse" (momentary only) Means (rtadams89) a 'tug' with the pto in reverse. As in Lowering a load. The shaft reversing Might align the bent pin.

    Deuce project

Just one fault though.."the front bumper is .00020 lower on one side!"..NO seriously..fantastic..I for one have not ever seen a deuce as well turned out as yours. And that colour and detailing..one of a kind. Now enjoy your your truck to the full..It will turn heads anywhere, including at...

    MT654 Lock up in 1st

When I read things like this, I (yet again) can not understand the 'wick' of designers who prepare a military tactical vehicle to not perform at least as well as 'other countries' military combat situation vehicles that Reverse in low range, Have ctis that actually works and is reliable. Do not...

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

Find a local freindly tree, or similar and winch that. It will come free. Or a long winded way unwind and give it a 'tug' in reverse.

    m211 stuck in low range

Okay, The post will assist others with the manual set up. However, Since this is the Automatic ("cadillac) version, ah=lah Allison! You WILL have the dreaded reverse "BUG". Another weak point in the transmission was that High-Range reverse overloaded the rear clutch cone and often caused it to...

    Glow plugs, and solenoid problem

IF you go manual..be careful, Some units do run intermittently after initial start up, BUT at reduced power. if you bypass the resister the glow plugs receive the 'full whack' and oblige by promptly burning out. The previous post advice on the 'limiting' good quality glow plugs alleviates this...

Noisy heater blower / fan ??

Bearings.and or Bushes. Strip clean and lubricate. (pita). It is a typical problem, and not with just your truck. (type).

    m211 stuck in low range

I am trying to puzzle this out...The TRANSMISSION is the transfer case, The 'Lump' in front of it! is the GEARBOX. The Transfer gears are not affected by the gearbox gears. 1) If the transfer case gears will not shift from low to high range (irrespective of the gearbox gear selection) Check the...
