Mounted HMMVE 37's now extreme death wobble

I drive my truck as much as possible. If I am not working or needing to pull one of my trailers, I am driving the blazer. I believe these springless kits have only been out for about 2 years or less so only time will tell how they hold up. It is just a piece of rubber so I cant imagine it not...

Mounted HMMVE 37's now extreme death wobble

http://offroaddesign.com/catalog/Dana60UpgradeParts.htm I don't know the size but they were large fender washers. The washers go on top of the rubber. Just make sure the lay flat in the top of the cup. Make sure you use washers and not just flat metal stock. The hole is needed in the center...

    CUCV with NP205 transfer cases

yes the adapters can be machined but I did not have one to start with. A pre-built adapter from 4l80e to fig8 205, when I was shopping, was over $500. I started with a figure 8 - 27 spline not sure what it was off of. I had the main bearing hole enlarged and purchased the fat shaft from ord...

Mounted HMMVE 37's now extreme death wobble

Even the stock springs may not be strong enough on a large tire. I had DW with new springs and cups. Added two washers to load the spring more and it quit. I changed to the springless kit and still use one extra washer.

Mine have always fallen out. I have heard of them breaking before and getting stuck. Disconnect IP power wire and turn it over. It should fall out or push out enough to get ahold of it. not sure what the options are if it is broken and stuck.

    CUCV with NP205 transfer cases

So far the Magnum box has given me no problems. I use it before I switch to low in the t-case. It is 2.5 to 1 reduction Which is a little better than the 2.1 in the 205. I have two 208 t-cases if any one needs one. I have not been able to use it much and only in some mud and not really...

M1009 with 35" tires no lift.

you can put 44's on a dana 60. I have 39's on my dana 60. You may need a washer or two under the kingpin springs to tighten them a little more for the larger heavier tire. The larger tires will stress the kingpin springs and can cause the 'death wobble'. I have the no spring kit from Ord on my...

M1009 with 35" tires no lift.

A big key to making the tires fit is the wheel. The farther you push the tire out, the more lift you need because you are no longer in the center of the wheel well. you do not want to rub on the inside frame rail but the closer you keep it to the frame the more wheel well you are using and...

Just open it at the fuel filter using the bleeder screw and it will prime itself. The hardest part is replacing it. There is a metal plunger that rides the cam between the pump arm and cam. when you take the pump off it will probably fall out. If it does not, check to make sure it is in...

M1009 with 35" tires no lift.

If you plan to do moderate off road driving or more. My opinion is that I would not put anything larger on a 1009 than 33's unless you do some upgrading to the axle. High strength axle shafts etc. and with that I would not go over 35 inch tires unless I did an axle swap. The 10 bolts are very...

yes, there is a metal line that runs up the engine and over to the filter, another metal line leaves the filter and runs under the manifold to the center connection of the IP. If you look under the manifold you see where the injector lines come out of the IP. The center one is the input from...

The hose connection is the intake and the threaded side is the output since it is the pressure side. The output side goes to the metal line and is a screw fitting. For ease of install use grease to hold the plunger in the block while installing the fuel pump and go ahead and put the metal line...

something has to be wrong with your fuel routing if you are getting fuel pressure on the return line. fuel has to go to the fuel pump, then to filter, then to IP, then to Injector and what is not used at the injector then gravity drains back to the fuel tank through the return line. The return...

sorry thought I had read in the thread that you had put on and electric pump. got it confused with other thread.

looks like you have your fuel lines crossed at the tank. The fuel should come from the line on top of the frame rail. When you put the electric pump on did you splice it into the return instead of the supply? or your pump is running backwards and somehow pressuring the tank.

I thought the fuel had to get to the injectors before it could get to the return line? I think you may have to get the line loose directly at the injector pump (under the intake manifold) to see if fuel is getting to the IP. If it is then remove glow plugs, crank motor while fuel lines to...

It should be working then. You may want to do a clean of the electrical system. 10V is not right at the GP's or the fuel shutoff valve. The low voltage could be just dirty connections. From the pics, thing you need to check is your fusable link from the batteries to the 12v bus connection...
