Dig one up and post a pic. Never heard of such a thing. I 100% believe you but I need to see it. I love the dunes now I have to worry about sand spurs?
You have to have the 6.5 and 4 speed at a minimum! M1123 truck is probably the best deal available. Yermo has really nice stuff and try to buy when they have a 100 up for sale. Do research on 5 vehicles that will be auctioned off on that day. I probably could have saved some money by bidding on...
Add 2,700 + - to sale price for taxes and auction fees. Don’t forget shipping around 1.25 per mile for running vehicle. 9k to 12k should get you something that runs. This is my first experience with the process but numbers are close based on what I have done.
I just called and asked about mine and I know I shouldn’t because it wastes their time. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t kicked back for some reason. Lady was really nice and said that USMC takes longer than DLA stuff. I don’t know if it’s true or not. At my age I’m concerned that I might not...
I don’t know anything about it but I did come across this while looking for my x-door.
Humvee turret

I’m pretty sure I can get it to fit if it was 1” out then I would just need to trim roof a little bit and the doors and add onto the other door and stick a cat in the gap. That’s just not how I do stuff and I don’t use vise grips on bolt heads either. I don’t think less of anyone that does or is...
Yes you are correct! The only thing I’m convinced of is that the pieces should be a left and a right and they should be the same dimensions. So you are saying that they intentionally make them different so they fit the trucks better? I have zero problem loosening ever pillar I have to make it...
I completely understand that we are not building a watch but both rails should be a mirror image of each other. If you start with a rail that’s already 5/16 out and you are installing it on a vehicle that’s a 1/4 out the other way you are a 9/16” from fitting. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to...
That would probably get it to fit but it’s not what you should have to do considering the amount we paid. That will change door gap also because the difference has to go somewhere. I don’t understand how you can make a part wrong when you have what it should look like right in front of you.
I...
I have 33” to 1st hole on one and 32 3/4” on the other. The notch for the b-pillar is off the same. I don’t have my truck yet so I don’t know what is the right one. Look at the quality, was wrapped while paint was wet. We paid a lot for that stuff.
Look on YouTube for blue ox and he has videos of his tops and his phone number on every video I have seen. His tops look tight and he can use whatever you want. I have always been curious about the cost and I bet it’s not cheap but good quality. You find out cost I would like to know. I found...
Can you please direct me to the parts TM. I have found lube and everything else but that. I can’t find anything for M1123 either. Something was mentioned in another thread about what axles you have. I went and looked and I couldn’t find it. That section is kinda confusing for me. I seen the need...
After seeing brackets in person I don’t see how it can be anything but cosmetic. Half of the bracket doesn’t have any attachment points so it could just fold back. I will probably rivet the end when I install it.
