You own a trailer. Does it need to be registered? There is your answer. If you are just looking for someone to say "I've done it with no problems" there are plenty that will. Myself included. You rolls the dice and you takes your chances.
Also several people have had trouble with overheating...
Probably just people with more dollars than sense. Cruise the list fast, bid without review......and it shows up again in a few weeks when they don't pay/retrieve.
If you have the two smaller panels, look for black and red paired wires going to the batteries. The smaller panels like you describe are 12V panels, used one on each pair of batteries. You will not have the gray distribution box if you have that set up. As far as pulling 12v for a lighter...
If you have a 1800 mile rust free truck, and even think about abusing it by driving in the salty winter, well that's just a crime. Plenty of trucks out there that aren't that pristine. I would have loved a chance to buy a truck like that. Pack it away in the winter, and get a winter truck...
I'm doing mine right now. You will need the mental break. Plan to attend. I know I am looking forward to Findlay and Denton in April as mental diversions. The work can wait a few days.
The ether button should ONLY BE activated while the engine is cranking. Hitting it first and then cranking can over fill a single cylinder if the intake valve is open. This is because of the proximity of the ether. If spraying from a can into the intake mushroom then spray and then crank works fine.
First, yes the valve is stuck. It comes out rather easily, clean it, grease it a little with the correct grease and put it back together.
You need to fix this before you drive it. That is the air dryer, and the truck's inability to build pressure will make the spring brakes come on when you...
A 939 with the NDT tires would normally not have the ABS MWO applied as radial tires were part of that upgrade. Might want to make sure you have them.
If not there were folks selling the entire upgrade kit for cheap money.
If I am not mistaken, the 12v is used as "opposing" voltage. So the motor slows down because it can only use half of the 24V. It happens inside the motor. Its basically using the 12V as a resistor. So you both kind of won, and its a draw.
