It was round when new. That looks like a rim with the 10 3/4" bolts.
The other older 5 ton wheels do not have a grove for the o-ring and they are a
bear to get to seal. The one you are showing is the better wheel for working on for sure.

What I have found on the O-rings is. The 5/8" 10 bolt older wheels take a 8mm o-ring and the newer 3/4" 10 bolt wheels take the 5mm o-ring that when you pull it off it looks triangular. The newer 3/4" wheel that uses the 5mm o-ring is the same o-ring used on the M35A3 wheels.
Yes the larger one has the spring brakes and a service side. The smaller one just has the service side.

Yes you can not start it with out the key. But you can short the switch out and get it started.
But that would take a little time and you would have to know about it.
I would think it maybe a line that is leaking. I would turn the truck off and push on the brakes and see if you can hear a leak, also get a soldier B to help out.
FYI, if your truck has a ball valve on the front service glad hand, Do not close it, it will cause brake problems. I know first hand.

did not get much out before I did not want to do it any more.aua

Kurt, The Colehersee switches are what I am using in my trucks, I have been using them now for a year or so with out any problems.
they are rated at "Electrical Ratings 1000A,175A continuous".
The switch just looks little in the battery box.
