I would look at the schematics and see if its a single phase 240 input to the breaker box or a 3 phase with a power transformer to step it up from 208.if its just 240 than having your electrician re arrange the box to where your lights and outlets are on one leg , 120 input. should be a simple...
also remember you need an isolated ground some items ground through the mounting base say like off road lights in this event it will be difficult to wire.
as a retired army mechanic I have driven and worked on both the 5 ton is crude simple and reliable. I chose the lmtv because it drives nicer and it has 1 less axle to maintain, I didn't need a second axle, and the cab seals up staying dry and snow free. the choice is yours and what suits you...
sounds like its stuck in limp home mode get some one with Allison doc to plug into it and pull codes. also look at data funny thing I had an engine in protection mode the other day it also had the Allison locked in limp mode.
if you have a diaphragm pressure plate the bolts are in the clutch housing either way likely a need for a new crank and flywheel. my experience is when those bolts come loose it does damage
I cant wait to get it here my dodge is about done for. this one was intended for our un improved and gravel roads we have out here in the bush this weekends ride to work was in a pa -12 ski plane temps were around - 15 had to get a stand by generator up and running
got word today my upfitter called said the service body was mounted seems it centered over the rear wheels pretty good. now I need a crane and get it here so the Lincoln sa 200 can fill the gap between the cab and box. don't forget some more 383 green and semi flat clear to make it all one color...
because of the way the helical gears work against each other you need some friction to initiate the lock up once this happens you have all the pull you need. in mud or on snow you should have enough friction to make it work on ice or one wheel air borne you will need to add friction with brakes
I would look at the 6 bolts holding the axleshafts to the differential. I have seen these come loose may also be part of the brake problem as they also hold the rotors on.
one plus for the 923 is an reliable airbrake system a plus for the a3 is its small and like driving a big pickup the a3 will have a much better turning radius and less blind spots. but I agree I like the larger cab of the 923 which one of the reasons I opted for an lmtv it has an even larger...
the military wrap is just a redundant system in the event the spring eye breaks I can assure you that wheel balance can cause issues with changing speeds. After many years of doing front end work I have seen this many times, also an easy way to check your spring bushings is to have to have...
I think 30 bucks to get front tires balanced is a lot more cost effective than tossing an undetermined amount of parts at it you also now have a chance to inspect tread and rims for abnormalities. There by making your diagnosis more accurate. I have seen tire balance on one tons create death...
don't discount tire balance, I have seen many times where the balance comes and goes at different speeds. Some times taking a bump, a little braking, or steering to make the wobble start. Also warped rotors can initiate a wobble as brakes are applied. I would balance tires check tread fro any...
take and center punch it pilot drill right down the center than try a reverse drill bit 90 percent of the time the bit will bite and pull the residue right out. The key is being as close to center as you can.
just remember commercial use part time or full time you need commercial insurance, dot registration, cdl and if you have placarded quantity's of hazmat a hazmat endorsement and background check.
I will have to agree unless you have a real specialized use for it, the tires aren't going to be long life tires run on asphalt the other problems you may encounter is poor fuel mileage comp aired to other low profile aerodynamic trucks say like a t300. I'm planning on putting mine into...
I would suggest checking with your local authority on what you are doing if running multiple states I would check with them to. in the state of Alaska combustibles just have to be in a tank that doesn't leak flammables have to be in dot approved containers. if you are placarded for flammable...
I normally weld a washer to said broken bolt, than weld a bolt to the washer, let it cool a bit and screw the broken bolt out. on larger bolts I will center drill all the way through than use the same procedure the hole in the center will allow the fastener shrink more
