Preparing to install a pair of Monroe 34787 shocks on the front of the Deuce. I have been told this will give me some more front tire life. Then a Monroe 66104 shock for my drivers front seat. And then were off for a trip to Pleasanton CA and the MVPA Convention.
At Tower Park, we're going to be at site 320 right next to Sonny Hanson & Jim Porterfield. Drop by and say Hello! We may just bring the car to Pleasanton, I'm working on the Deuce right now and it probably won't be finished in time. Should be fun, see ya there.
Just a heads up. I placed my reservation for the 2016 September MVCC meet at Tower Park last week. The KOA is gone, and the facility is now run by Yogi Bears, Jelly Stone Park. (No kidding) I Almost hung up as I thought I had the wrong number. Looks like just the name has changed as all the park...
I noticed the markings on the door as well, and they could be Civil Defense. I'll be going to the county office tomorrow to see if I can locate the owners of the property.
Ah, there it is, International on the side of the hood......should wear my glasses more often. It's not as nice as the power wagon, but could still be brought back or parted. The M-37 with the tow boom is at another yard in town, and it looks like a 40s Autocar truck behind it.
