Looks like a good mostly complete vehicle to restore. Get familiar with the TMs and tackle things one at a time. I suggest starting with the brakes. Once you get the ball rolling I think you'll have fun.:!:

Yes. The air cleaner is from an M52A2. Down the road I plan on installing an LDS engine so I can haul an S-280 shelter along with an M105A2 trailer. I want the LDS engine to breathe so I did the air cleaner conversion first, as I already had the air cleaner. The expensive stuff is next.

The paint on my deuce is Aervoe woodland green (faded to grey) and it's about 2 1/2 years old. I was getting ready to re paint so I thought I'd try the WD40 method recommended on this thread to rejuvenate the paint. As you can see the WD40 brings back some luster and color, but not quite back...

I'll try WD40 on the M105 trailer first. If it looks good, I'll try it on the Deuce.

What you have looks pretty straight. Better than most I've seen.
