Extended Brake Lines for 2in Lift??

You can buy 2wd front brake lines for quite cheap at any parts store. They're a few inches longer than the 4wd ones. There is a metal bracket you'll have to remove but it's just bent around the line.

1" zero rates and 32x12.50s... Any rubbing?

I think it'll be just fine bone stock if you're not out there flexing it to the bump stops at full lock.

    What type of driving?

    What is this card for?

I know the top card is the glow plug controller, but what is the bottom one for? It's located near the diagnostic plug under the middle of the dash

    Suburban seat swap

I don't think I'd use a second or third row seat in the front, generally they have less adjustability and aren't nearly as comfortable. Like posted above, a bench seat from a newer truck would be a better option though you're going to lose accessibility to the rear seats if you have them because...

    D60/14BFF Axle Swap on M1009

Not without moving the spring pads on the axle. I believe the suburbans with 14b's have the correct spring pad spacing.

    D60/14BFF Axle Swap on M1009

The 3/4 ton calipers don't have the tightest brake pads so they tend to make some rattling noise, I had to space my brackets out because they didn't center the caliper over the rotor, I don't have a parking brake (I know you can use the eldorado calipers but unless you buy an expensive kit, you...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Allows you to run low low pressure without the worry of popping a bead. They're made by the same company that makes the hmmwv wheels as well as other military beadlock wheels

    35in Tires on M1008

I've got an 09 on 1 ton axles and 35's with a 2" lift. I'm running 16x8 with zero offset (4.5" backspacing) and had to clearance the back corner at the cab because when stuffed and turned it would contact. I probably could of left the bumper side. This is with a blown out 37" tire but you can...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Thanks! Still need to go thru the hassle of dismounting the tires and putting my bfg ko2's on but had to fit them to see how they look. They were apparently used on border patrol 2500's and are double bead lock.

    Lift kit for M1009

Everything for any solid axle k5 will fit. If whatever you get ends up being a touch too low you can always order a zero rate block for the front or rear and add a bit of height. Shouldn't be as insanely priced to ship as leaf springs would be since they're small.

    Lift kit for M1009

My m1009 is a 2" lift, specifically the tuff country hd 2" lift springs in the front.

    Lift kit for M1009

If he went the usual cheap small lift kit it would probably be fine with a 35/12.5/15 tire and maybe a bit of trimming since it sounds like he's mostly on the road. I don't think I'd go over a 33" tire though with stock axles and 3.08 gearing on an m1009.

    Lift kit for M1009

What front axle? The Dana 60 is a wider track than a 10 bolt or d44 by 2".

    Lift kit for M1009

Looking at that picture, I don't see how that could even be possible to not rub like crazy while driving. It looks like it's rubbing in that pic just sitting there lol. My 35's rubbed turning out of my driveway with a 2" lift. I also have as much backspacing as I possibly could to get them...

    tuff country kit for M1009t

I didn't see you had another suspension question. Ruff country makes two styles of front springs. An ez-ride and an ez-ride HD. The HD springs have an extra leaf up front and that's what is suggested for anything but a small block. I don't think suspension connection sells the HD in a kit so you...

    Lift kit for M1009

That's where I bought my tuff country stuff, suspension connection. You can get longer rubber hoses if you want cheaper. Just buy them for an 85 2wd c10. That's what I originally did. Plenty long up front. I will say I'm not a huge fan of the shocks. I'll be going with fox or bilstein whenever I...
