My deuce gets about 11 empty on 395's as for the 925a2 well it has pulled a trailer since the day I picked her up and it got about 7.9 pulling a jeep on a 3k trailer and 6.5 pulling a jeep on a 10 k trailer
Johnson bar or trolly valve , it is used to apply or test brakes on trailer with air brakes , you really should never use it while driving . Unless you really know what your doing

Very nice , have you thought about putting some angle steel from the bottom of the plate to the frame , that's a lot of leverage that far down . looks great though :)
