Got a few pair of the 'old-style' hubsteps listed for sale in the classified section.

I'm going with locking hubs. Probably OEM's. First on the front, then on the middle, and on the rearmost axle too, if/when I can afford them.

Huh. Can't find much in the way of info about that filter online. What's it all about? How does it work? I'll ask the people that I've been working with at Racor what they're planning on doing with that product line next time I talk to them.

Those DO look great. I had enough tires to run them dualed on Mah Deuce, but just couldn't justify any real need for having that much rubber on the ground.

I only box the frame on vehicles like this where I can add an extensive rollcage to REALLY stiffen the chassis. It's kind of an all-or-nothing sort of thing as far as I'm concerned though. One thing you definitely don't want to do is box any portion of a frame in any way that might lead to...

Thanks for the continued interest and input guys. sandcobra- The number of street-legal vehicles using full hydro steering is definitely increasing. There are garbage trucks and all types of heavy duty vehicles, and evidently even the new unimog? And someone just posted this over on the pirate...

Jeez, this thread is all over the place. I posted part numbers for a bolt-in replacement air compressor that puts out double the CFM of the stock unit somewhere in another thread when I was doing research for my project.

I got one of those fiberglass hoods that I'm going to put on my A2. It's heavy (thick) fiberglass, but doesn't have any additional insulation. The 800-series 5-ton steering columns are similar to the deuce columns, but they're shorter and use an intermediate shaft that is connected to the steering box. They use a second column mount (identical to the one on the dash) on the firewall. Got one for Mah Deuce that I'm planning to connect...

So when you pressurize the bellhousing, will that also pressurize the transmission?
