Military Trailers still at work (plus mule)

I really want to add a wood boiler to my home. It doesn't really get too cold for long periods here in SC, but it would be nice to have when it is! I really like your set up. And the idea of using the trailers.

Whirlwind M915 trip to recover m270

yeah, my heater wasn't working, I fixed it at a fuel stop because it was getting a bit cold in the cab! The switch is bad, I just hotwired the med speed. I'd love for you to do a thread or at least send me pics of your A/C install, I'm going to do that to mine this winter before the heat...

GA 2011 Rally After Action Report

I agree that collecting camping could be done easily. I was more interested in redeming my card saying I paid to drive/ride for that day, for a wristband. I would say you still have to go to sign in for the waiver, and pay for riding/driving, but if you have the cards for the following days, you...

GA 2011 Rally After Action Report

There are waivers for riders and drivers. PB, you got a colored arm band if you were a rider or a driver. I believe if you paid to drive you could ride with someone else that same day. They only give you whatever 'color of the day' the band is. they give you cards to exchange for the next days...

Whirlwind M915 trip to recover m270

Just wanted to share me and JP (EMD567's) epic warpspeed m270 recovery from Texarkana, TX to Hopkins, SC (or in reality, Winnsboro, SC to the RR museum.) We were also supposed to pick up a forklift for the museum in MS, so I figured buying a trailer out west would kill two birds... We were...

Uh, I didn't even know there was a difference between 900 series and 800 series rims!;-) Thanks to AMGeneral (brandon) for pointing that out! And thanks to everyone who helped me get them changed out. I love the idea of training or how too clinics. I love teaching and would volunteer to do a...

    Hello from South Carolina

Matt, Welcome to the site! Next year, you are welcome to convoy down with Craig and I to the rally, (hopefully have Neil Hendrix as well) or if you leave on Wed, you can give Mike some company for his ride down. I let Craig drive my 'XM818 of Death' to the rally this year. Next year I'll have...

    915a1 top speed

mine will run 67mph if pushed to the floor empty. I think that's at 2350 RPM. I've run the tried and true 855 block and basic engine design in many different pieces of equipment. From a 1941 locomotive to my M915a1. Never had an issue with 2400rpm or less, as long as the engine was built/rebuilt...

    2011 GA Rally Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

Anyone got 4 new M37 wheel cylinders laying around? I didn't get to rebuilding mine, and it would be real close if I ordered them, so if someone has a set (2 RH and 2 LH), I'll drive the m37 on the trailer and bring it, and just put them on there.
