Honestly the brake system can be completely rebuilt for about $300. You can buy rebuilt calipers, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and the brake hoses. If it were me at this point I would replace all of them and have lifetime warranty parts and sit back and drive on. I do it to every CUCV I...
I have one mounted on an M1009 roof. I can get pictures for you if you are interested. I will sell it because I have no use for it anymore. It is a very well made one and is aluminum. I have the top with the factory civilian black glass and the rear gate glass in mirror black also. the gate...
Do the dash cluster lights work? If they do the cluster is grounded somewhere. I was pointing you in the direction of the sending unit. Check and make sure that has a constant ground. The wire that hooks to the ground at the E Brake has a female spade connection. Look up under there is it...
Fuel gauge is more then likely the ground on the drivers side rear frame section. Upper frame flange. It has a 5/16" self tapping bolt and a star washer. Remove that bolt clean the frame and reinstall. Also check and see if the wire is still attached to the fuel tank sending unit. That wire was...
They are noise filters for the military radio. They are NOT needed for the wipers to work. If they were eliminated they were an issue. Discard them. Happy Thanksgiving.

I have used many of these.
After a long time in storage the parts to convert an M1009 into a pickup truck and look stock have been sold. I posted a few of my M1009 parts on Facebook market and received a lot of attention and have sold the softback hard top conversion. I don't see me going that route again. and I also have...
Do you have any updates? Has the vehicle been released to you? If not what is holding it up from being released? I hope you have it or at least have a time line that you will have it. This transaction started back in June/July. Keep me posted.
That right rear 1/4 panel damage will buff right out if you hit it with the right compound. Really it looks like a decent rig. Needs a lot of TLC but it can be brought around in due time.
