If it were me, I would:
1. Open up TM 9-2320-280-10
2. Turn to page 2-126
3. Read the instructions on Towing Operations
The very first warning in the Towing Operations would be one I paid a lot of attention to. I would also read the entire Towing Operation section.
Most everything you want to...
Jason, what you need to do is start your own thread. Call it "MEP-1040, wont start" or something like that. This thread is about part numbers. Your getting help in this thread is slim and none. And slim left town. If you need help starting a thread, say something and we will help you.
Now days, when they find you passed out, they load you on the gurney. It has shades, so no one can tell who it is inside. They take to the "observation tent and make sure you do not take the last train to Philadelphia.
Drunk Hill.
When you get a chance, some pictures of the insides. Like Peter wrote, it is very old. But the Technic is much simpler. For instance, the AC VFR is probably going to have 4 rectifier tubes in it. The main gen will have carbon brushes. That sort of thing.

Failing at doing the same thing over and over again is supposed to be the definition of stupidity.
No. I tend to call it tenacity. And find it a quality rare in in life.
The quote is: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results”...
Do not be in a hurry to go so far as taking out the radiator. I would first pull out the IP's and see if the rack will move. To do that, look into the IP hole, and pull/push the fuel cut off solenoid linkage back and forth.. You should see the rack move back and forth. Then you need to get the...
I only drove one of them a few times.
1. Drove like a pig.
2. Stopped like a drunken pig.
3. Handled like an old drunken pig.
4. Crappy visibility.
5. You do NOT want to leave anything, nor any part of your body, between the door and door frame when the door is swinging shut, or being swung...
