    LMTV power increase

That's an interesting concept, but I know just enough about turbos to be dangerous. So in essence, you be running the turbo at max boost at all times? The Road Warrior in me likes this idea... "I live, I die! I live again! " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHJnE4H0idQ

    Working on the M1078 LMTV

I didn't see one (else I'd have asked) so I'd assume whatever it was must have sold. I know he said he had sold his trailer (and he had a nice gen for sale, but far too big for my needs with no place to park it).

    Battery Tray Components Needed

Scott DeWitt was kind enough to video the procedure over on FB. https://www.facebook.com/scottmandula/videos/10156790237418524/ *if links aren't allowed for some reason, let me know and I'll remove it

Registering an M1078 in Washington State

Texas lost our dunebuggies on the roads due to the TxDMV slipping in a rule change. They revoked titles (good luck selling one, they are treated as "equipment" according to the TxDMV), they refuse to issue any new titles (purchased or constructed dunebuggies), and the more we challenged it the...

    Battery Tray Components Needed

That's the million dollar question. "Shaft, Shoulder" Someone said it was used to remove the tray.

    What are tubes behind cab?

Look to be beacon mounts to me. With the lenses removed and just the raw strobe in the video).

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Yes. A couple of toys in there. A little sand rail (VW-powered): And my Baja pre-runner (I didn't build this one, but it's akin to some we did in the past): So I was chillin' on the island watching college girlies and waiting on sunset, when this happened:

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Added an industrial (neighbor-annoying) backup alarm. Painted the tailgate (OCD made me do it) and faded it in a bit to match the weathering on the rest of the truck. Got familiar with the tarp options. And last night I made sure I could get the spare off in the dark with only a flashlight.

    M1078A1 -10 Technical Manual

Also, it would appear that there may be copies of viewing software available for free for individual civilian use: https://en.freedownloadmanager.org/Windows-PC/EMS-NG.html *I did not pull this down yet

    M1078A1 -10 Technical Manual

Best I can tell, the viewer just makes all the links to images and tables function. The data should appear as .pdf format (the .xml links are propagated by the viewer). So have you looked at the data to see if the .pdfs and images can be accessed?

I gave the "Silverback" a new home. Thanks Mark !

So I can use the CO2 tank as a backup air source ?

Nitrogen is also used in tire inflation. As well as all of my off-road oil-and-gas shocks. ;)

LMTV auction prices getting a little ridiculous

I somehow think that's no longer an issue. ;)

    SRW Question

Oddly enough, I noticed two that came thru GP in Aug. One out in Barstow on the 15th and one out of Campbell on the 29th.

M1078 A0 change inner door handle

Not sure of the degree you are looking to keep things OEM/mil-spec, but I was looking at a video of a rig the other day that had larger/square door latches (like those found on external ambulance closet doors). Someone commented today that those were used on late model LMTVs and not some sort...

    Wehring LMTV Mods

The 3126 Cat engine is computer injection (vs the 3116 that uses mechanical). HP can be tuned via ECU software on the 3126. Here's some tinkering info if you have a 3116 (non-computer) engine: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?177366-LMTV-power-increase

swapping tires with locker in rear

Well, this one was on a certain "Military Vehicle Seller!" FB group (I can PM you if you want the link). But 3/4 ton wheel dollies look to be found from Walmart, Sears, Amazon, etc anywhere from $350-2000.
