You could try a pipe fitter hydraulic company that makes up piping. They would use your "ends" and place something between which should suit. That is what I have done in the past. (for a Kraz 225B)
When you get it back in be sure to check the distributor, particularly the Condenser. as that sounds as if it might have gone out you whilst driving to that event. (don't spoil the ship for a 1/2 penneth of tar!).
If the flashers worked perfectly before the change over, then the LED = Low resistance. = no signal. Put a resistor in the circuit or get a suitable flasher unit to suit the lower resistance. (or what happenns when you replace the LEDs back to the original lamps?)
Wev'e all done that at some point. My friend had no compression on his quad, Was told by all un-sundry "it's the rings". I told him to check the valves first. Nope! his "helpers" cut the frame to get the engine out (thought it would not clear the frame at the top), I told him take off the valve...
Welcome to the hobby. Why not purchase a vehicle with the options you want/need already fitted?, If not, I would think you might find something for your needs in the local scrap yard? If it's "heat" you want that's easy. the cooler not so much. Time for ingenuity? Good luck.
