All the lights are grounded separately. While I haven't seen the issue you are seeing, others have. I'd go with majority rule and check the gnd first. That is an easy fix.

I don't believe it's a ground issue if all the other lights in the housing work. Did you check for power at the connector between the harness and light? If no power there, i'd start with turn signal assembly, check to see if power is being put out from the assembly.

Co2 doesn't make a mess, it's the oil coming out the pipe that's messy. I've had the unfortunate pleasure of having to use Co2 extinguishers on run aways, it works very well!

Roll down the windows, put a piece of channel across the doors, remove the pas seat and doghouse. Disconnect all the shafts and linkages, hook a come along or chain fall to the channel and lower the t-case down onto a $5.00 HF furniture dolly. You'll need to drop the spare down to get it out...

Sounds like you have a dropped valve or two. Thake the rocker boxes off and see if the offending cylinders have springs that are shorter or taller than others.
