Yes, come on up Craig, and I'll see you there Mike. I'll PM it to you or Mitch might PM you straight. Kenny, you don't have to do that, just lending a hand... I'm just proud to be a member of this 'fraternity'.

:oops::oops::oops: I'm quite humbled PB, I'm just doing what I would want anyone to do for me. Mitch, I can't think of anything. The hardest part of all this is going to be getting the new engine 3 ft to the ground. PM me your addy again so I can put it in the magic locator box. I'm...

Well, I pulled an injector off of the hummer engine, and headed to Phil's current AO. After replacing it, the engine would run- BUT- tons of unburnt fuel spewing out the pipe. Pulled the injector line off, and that went away. Now for the bad- we checked compression, and there was none. Pulled...

Pickup day is fast approaching for the Deuce

It's pretty easy to get a truck from Eastover. Just make sure you arrive early, and have your act together, and Tim and the Sgt. (his name escapes me, I have to know you for years for it to sink through the thick layer surrounding my tiny brain) will work with you, and lend you a small hand for...

Phil, I will be up at the museum in about an hour- call me if you need me to pull any parts off the canned engine, and I'll run them down to you. Do you want me to just pull an entire head and bring it?

Phil, we can work something out. I have access to two engine hoists, and can get the engine in a can to you. I live in a townhouse though, I can't do it there. I'd be willing to tow you anywhere you need to go. If anything, I will at least be there around 4 or 5 twith tools so we can pull the...

Phil, I get off work at 3, but have to drag Clintogf Deuce to Winnsboro, then I can head your way with tools. If we have too, we can tow you up to the museum, and drop that engine you just bought into the truck!

looking into buying a M275. advice?

A lot depends on what you want to do with it- tow a trailer? haul things? A true m275 is a short wheelbase truck, with a short frame. A m48 is basically a standard m35 with a 5th wheel. If your only going to pull say a m146 box trailer, or other small trailer, without much weight, it would...

Anybody in Gilmer County Georgia With M116A2?

I'd call a LEO in on it, so nothing happens to the one you have now. Besides, unless the guy's trailer really has the same vin (some idiot at the stamping machine that day) he committed fraud, and falsifying offical documents.

    Ferro got a tank

load of WVO at 7.5lbs per gallon, 5000 gallons- 37,500lbs. Empty Trailer weight- 13,000lbs Tractor weight (m818)- 19,644lbs Total- 70,144lbs WVO doesn't need placards. Before I start backhauling the bio blend (which is placarded) I would like to get a m915 and I still need my hazmat...

    No brake lights

It will look like one of these-

    No brake lights

It is a round pressure switch, with two wires. There are two types- the old hydraulic type, and the newer air type. If you need one in a hurry, you can rob the one from behind the dash, attached to the air shift control (if the truck is air shift) all that one is for is to turn on the...

Dyed Diesel / off road fuel.......

You fill out a form next month for this month. So technically, they can't prove when you put it in your tank, as you don't report it until the following month. They can't prove you won't report it. Also, you are supposed to report what you added to the tank that month- not actually burned. So...

Dyed Diesel / off road fuel.......

In SC, it was department of revenue. Easy as can be, and was free. You just submit a report each month for the following month, and you can submit a zero gallons used report.

    Ferro got a tank

It still has probably 10 or so gallons of old JP-8 in the lines. Plan to drain it out and burn it in the deuce. I did a 300 mile trip, 1/3 bobtailing, on one 55 gallon tank, and still had some left in the tank. I'm sure it will be a whole tank one way when she's loaded!

Ditto, I have the same license in SC. Get pulled over, show it, and get a 'have a nice day' :grd:
