    Road trip to Alaska

Ok all, I am having to reschedule my trip. I'm pushing it back one year, to leave the same time next year. I need to save up enough vacation time so I can take the whole month and a half needed, and still get paid for it. Also, there is just too much left to do on the truck. I did finally get...

    2010 Haspin rally BS thread

The showers at Haspin are quite nice. there is a large indoor bathroom with showers. they get pretty muddy on the weekends, but they are still way better than a wooden box outside. I believe the ladies side is even nicer for some reason... I don't really remember, couldn't see much through the...

Would love to see that in a lake, steaming around with planes taking off. Just standing still, it is incredible!

    Wheels studs

In my humble opinion, the stock way is rather easy to remember. No matter what side of the truck your on, you turn them to the Back, to Back them off. I never forget this way. Also, if you do ever sell the truck, the next owner might get upset when he can't get any lugnuts off one side when he...

    Be careful with jacks

I checked it, it is straight, so it must just be the picture. I know I probably shouldn't have used the jack- I was given it by my father when he moved out of his house, and I couldn't find my nice government ones (the red one in the first 'reenactment' picture) So that's another tip, check your...

    Be careful with jacks

Yes, I only used the cheapo one because I was given it and I couldn't find my good Gov jacks at the time.

    Be careful with jacks

Hello all, I had something happen to me last night that I felt I should share. I am in the middle of replacing the 9.00x20 NDTs tires on my m109 with 11.00R20 tires. I had the front driver side axle jacked up with a horrible freight 12ton bottle jack. As I came up on a stroke, the piston...

First Aid Kit and Fire Extingusher

I have two of each in the m109, one of each in the cab, and one of each in the box. I agree with Metal, if you don't properly check your equipment and rotate your first aid kit supplies, when you need them you might find them useless. I also have an extinguisher and first aid kit in the 818...

can someone in SC look at a truck for me?

I live pretty close to Joe, I don't know him that well personally, but have known him on the site for years. Seems like a fin upstanding guy. If he says it will make it, I'd bet dimes to donuts it will. But you should remember, that's a long trip, and there is always a possibility of problems...

    WTB CX-10613G ( mx-777 power cable)

My, where did you get so smart? Chris is exactly right. Not only does this help you determine the proper polarity, but it also is a good check for your MX-7777, lets you know it is working if it trips when the polarity is reversed.
