I Need Some Guidance on First Truck Selection

Set your sights a little lower! (and) start with a "usable" truck that wont BOG DOWN in the mud! you can not expect a 15 ton vehicle to go "jazzing" off road. You will find a deuce more suitable for that combination. and (then) keep the Heavy metal for work tasks. I have a variety of vehicles...

    Bringing the m35a2 home

By the time you have taken the fuel travel costs and the stress factor into considaration. the of worry free very reasnable delivery charge seems the best way to go.

You might check to glad hand one way valves (towing input lines) As they are mounted close to the location you feel is the source.

I did a bad bad thing

sorry for duplication (and) I cant delete the thing!. So while here i will add that I found an M35 with an 427 engine in it, It had a D turbo and performed well, We used it to transport jeeps to the shows..I seem to remember it was slightly underpowered though, but as it was obtained cheaply we...

I did a bad bad thing

Nice find, if only for the parts..I would have gone for it just to have those wheels. (and power steer kit) and so on and on..

    New Guy

You WILL be in "love" all over again..and you can spend many occupying and (satisfying) hours in taking care of the routine maintenance. And driving to events is a real age preventer..(or a buzz and a half).Collect the tms. or read through from S.S.Site libraries. Its addictive..be carefull..I...

Are parts of the future MV hobby dying?

certainly Well here in the U.K. that is a fact. And the reason?..No insurence for people UNDER 25!!! and most insurence companies make that 30 for historic or vintage vehicles. Get this..a 17 year (to 29) can not drive a land rover (or jeep ( historic or vintage)) but CAN drive a (''**n) Gamma...

    Code Enforcement Threat

Yes we were just south of woodhall spar (only 4 miles) and I used to "tug" my "trains" to all the local shows around that region. Happy days...but we moved lck stock and barrel to a new location just outside London. (Well oustide!) in the sticks..no noise no fuss NO Neighbours (to complain) and...

    Air Assisted Power Steering

the hardest part of the job is getting the spring hanger bolts off usually, you should have new ones in the kit. We (just) cut (with an angle grinder) the siezed ones through. and yes it would have been nice (logical actually as well as plain sense!) to size the air pipe connections out of the...
