I've been having to add air to the left front tire on my M35A3 for about a year now and finally got tired of it. This was the last tire mounted on the truck that leaked, sans the spare. I've fixed the other 5 tires previously. All of them were leaking at the valve stem grommet. None leaked...
I had a Ford F150 that had the same symptoms as you. I was convinced the problem was the motor after I eliminated wiring as the problem. The problem turned out to be a bad switch.
I went the low-tech route. I have a cabin on my property that is not serviced by my MEP003A (yet). I leave the cabin porch light on that I can barely see from my house. My EMC doesn't notify us when the power is restored, even if requested to do so. I'm using a manual transfer switch.
I never trust the fuel gauge on either of my deuces. I visually determine what is in the tank or use a dip stick. I also try to keep it topped off when parked to minimize condensation issues and normally refuel at 1/2 tank while driving.
All the way back in 1970 the Army told us to never burn straight gasoline, that the multi-fuel function was only for emergency situations and that if we did use gasoline to try and use it at no more than 50% with diesel. We were never instructed to add motor oil or any other additive. I have a...
The utility power is now back on after running the MEP003A for a little over 20 hours continuously. I paid $1556.58, including buyers premium, back in 2009 for the generator. I recovered it from Fort Jackson, SC. It had recently come back from Kuwait and had previously been in Japan before...
Preheating for around 25 seconds or so results in the starter only being required for about 5 - 10 seconds in summertime as opposed to around 20 seconds without preheat. Saves the starter.
We lost power again this evening. Happens every month or two. The MEP003A is up and running, powering the whole house. Started in about 10 seconds after heating glow plugs for 25 seconds. I noticed this evening, however, that the percent load meter is reading zero, regardless of load. The...
On both my M35A2 and M35A3, there is no threaded rod. The upright is solid, with studs sticking out both ends. You are fortunate that this upright is the same on both the A2 and A3. I've broken two of these in the past on my A3 and found replacements for $5.00 and $10.00 at the Georgia Rally...
I suspect the Oshkosh JLTV will actually improve as time goes on. The initial production run of any vehicle often have small issues that show up and are corrected by future design changes.
I need a Kubota RTV 900XT picked up and moved from Salt Lake City to North Georgia the last week in April. This ATV weighs approximately 1918 Lbs. It runs, but has a significant engine oil leak while running.
