Well, the 106 is almost done. It has a fresh coat of paint, the cooling system is all cleaned up, I just gotta get the fan drive pulley made..can't locate one. We moved it out of the shop area back into it's parking place, we can do the numbering where it sits and do the pulley/belts there too...
I agree, the 16 thru 18 is good fer me. Early? Maybe. If we are still on work share, maybe I can arrange it. If not, it will be Friday afternoon for me. Jake should have his license by then. Maybe I'll get lazy and bring the trailer...wait, that would be more work...the tent will do nicely...
Is there a list of current moderators? I need some help with the calender section.
I think it would be a good idea to have a list of who is who on the front page.
Hey Chris, I shoulda told ya that the seal goes in the front cover while it is on the bench. It is centered on the crank when you install the cover. Keep an eye on the front, you have a better than 50% chance it is gonna leak
What Vid?
My junk does that in cold...well Ca cold, maybe 35 degrees. Other than that, fires right up w/o throttle. What is the idle set at? Should be around 800.

Hey guys,
I looked thru 10 pages of threads for results of HMMWV fuel filter, but came up with nada.
The Museum has an early M998. The fuel filter is used up. The numbers are SC220072. It is a Kaydon filter and I have exhausted all of my resources at work and the internet. NOPE.com!
Does anyone...
You can get flywheel housings for just about any bell housing/trans. The flywheel/clutch will be the larger issue. You can also get different starter quadrants too.
The thing that stands out is "normal cranking time for his truck, with WOT" . Sounds like a fuel pump. If you have done all the filters, i'd bet that's the issue.
Don't waste the $. If the cylinder has low compression, there will be white smoke all the time and lots of blow-by...that can ONLY be measured with a manometer and compared to a reading from the MFG of the engine...if ANYONE has the specs and measurement procedures for the multi, POST UP! The...
Sure it will. Turning the fuel delivery up has nuttin' to do with the governor part of the pump..it'll just get there faster ;-)
Can't say i've ever pulled the throttle instead ov the shut down..but anything can happen!
I'll be there with another guy and he has 2 others comming from Long Beach...Sorry BlkHMMWV, I was wrong on the time. If you wanna bump it up 1.2 hr that's OK.
At the Fontana scrap yard, there a quite a few aluminum covers for the HEMTT cab with the M66 ring mount. I can pick one up tomorrow and send a pic if you like.
