I know off a few people over here that have run waste engine oil and promptly had thier in tank pump pack up! When I tried it the pumps would not lift it hardly and the engines only really got going after piling on the revs. Another factor that has me downright puzzled is why no one...

Hassan...you do not have to flip the drums on our mod and (just) drill out the rivets on your front rims and ask a good welder to replace the (reversed) centres 4" out OR to your choice. and the stance is appealing, the mpg well enhanced, as is the CRUISING speed..2000rpms =...

And good luck with your aquisition. Steady is the watchword. just be patient . Get the feel of the engine ( and the rest of the truck )over distance. say 2000 rpms, then when all settled down, break the back of the journey with a steady 2250 rpms constant. After all there will...

No video link
fantastic project and achievement: however despite searching all over your link, there is no video "near the top of the page" only by searching all those dates ( which then reveals a blue video logo) just results in a video of a grey car. (and no way to fast forward to review if...

Ha! well spotted...and yes..guess my trucks are getting like a "spaghetti sandwich!".."everything on" the fire truck has a 1940s bell, a wolo fire chief (new york fire truck) horn.. two police car siren kits..more lights than a christmas tree.. but it all works and goes down a...
Tried 1200x20 on the fire truck..did not quite like the look and handling. So took stock 900x20s off my deuce. put them on the fire truck, and singled out the deuce without flipping the hubs.
the fire truck looks better now I think. and carrying full water pulls better.
The deuce drives fine...
I went with this
Tried two versions , but did not like them. so place a russian body on my 5 ton. Now I do like the "look"..and it's sorta in keeping with the green thing. The deuce has a radio module in the back with camping gear in. then the raised tarp over that. Edit. (removed wrong...

Here is a picture of the replacement pre lube oil pump. The old home made one burnt out. So I will try this rather sturdy looking pump after fitting it to my REO camper tommorrow. With further pictures of it's placing.
Here are the pictures of my deuce on 1200X20s. (not flipped. front track 2x4")
The 900s are now on my M45. (Stock twinned).
